Forgotten waters...dredged so deep
the mournful cry...a soul that weeps
compassion's heart...unsure of try
been fooled before..that is why

A shadow of darkness..surrounds this gate
shall I trust faith......Sealing my fate
the choice of choice.....dare walk a mile
I'm unsure I could bring you a smile

My heart open book.....cut once too many
compassionate heart..wanting to send thee
the joy of hope..........to set thee free
this spirit broken.....just should not be.....
