Genius Remote-Controlled Machine Turns Kindle Pages
16 Views • Aug 21, 2018
Description
Fed up with changing the pages of his Amazon Kindle, Alex Mikes created a solution.
Using an Arduino nano</a>, radio frequency receiver and a micro servo, Mikes created a machine that can turn the page of his ebook for him.
A video of the invention, originally uploaded to Gfycat</a>, shows Mikes pressing a remote that triggers the machine to tap the screen and switch the page.
Writing on Reddit</a> Mikes describes how he uses his invention (which “importantly does not require line-of-sight”) while he’s tucked under the covers in bed, with his Kindle is held in place by a stand. Credit: Alex Mikes via Storyful
