GAYATRI NAMBIAR - ! CONTRAST!

Dugg cries and drinks in Greenwood,
his private bar he made in Orchids
His wife laughs and places a full
bottle of ink in her vanity bag,
throws in air the key of her new suv
he bought as a gift for her of his new book
which he painfully mused from
a subcontinent afar.
Dugg pours his guilt in crystal glasses
and breaks it through the rear window
his unfortunate children play football
in Orchids with more time to play
Dugg cries in his private bar
and confesses aloud his guilt
and his wife laughs in Orchids
a few feet away from his misery.
