Description

Dear Guru Maharaj
It was all your causeless mercy
That you initiated me as a disciple[26th Feb.]
Accepting me as your servant

You then gave instructions
And advice to lead a devotional life
To chant Hare Krishna regularly
To follow the regulative principles strictly
To translate your books in Hindi
To preach among the friends
To be a nice student
and to stay lifelong in scientific-circles.

I keep trying time and again
To stick to your words
And your instructions divine
To fulfill your desires and expectations.

But I keep falling again
To the miseries of material world
To the allurements of Maya potency
And getting slaps and kicks
Each day and each night.

And, now when you have withdrawn
Your transcendental physical association,
And placed us in a dark period of time,

I don't know what to do.
I don't know how to act,
In reciprocation to your divine words.
I can only pray
I can only pray
For your transcendental guidance,
from the eternal realm,
In form of Shrutis and visions,

Please help me Guru Maharaj
I am young and innocent and foolish and immature
I don't know how to deal
I don't know how to handle
the situations changing now and then.
I can only pray.
I can only pray
And depend upon Your blesssings
And those of your Sri Krishna Bhagavaan.

I continue with faith
that you will be my eternal guide
my eternal saviour and friend.
Your words being my only asset
Tangible, eternal and confidential.

Please help me
Till I stay serving for you,
And then call me
In your service eternal and divine

On your Vyas-Puja day [TODAY -26 Nov.]
Please accept this offering
Which I shamelessly scribble as a poem.

Your useless servant whom you named as Gaurachandra Das.
Hare Krishna

To my spiritual master Sripad Bhaktisvarupa Damodara Swami, Iskcon.
