at christmas time we hear christmas songs all around, 24 hours a day - and mostly the very same songs, since decades. But there are only a few new christmas songs, and you won´t find any without all the clishees like sleigh bells and an old fat red nosed man in funny clothes flying though the air, desperately yelling "Ho Ho Hoooo" and so on...

Gather together is just a beautiful warm and tender song for a relaxed christmas time - just like it should be - written by a team of Austrian musicians who felt ennoyed with the common commercial christmas feeling and wanted to set a counterpoint against the common mainstream...
