Description

A cable car filled quickly, with happy people.
Intent on fun and good times coming.
Skiing can be fast past the old church steeple
Restaraunt busy; views of mountains stunning.

Cable car starts; at first climbing fast,
Chattering young voices, sun is high.
High above the ravine pine trees passed.
Far, far below icy billowing breezes sigh.

Suddenly a noise followed by vibration
Five hundred metres from compacted snow.
People's voices rise and reflect consternation.
Conscious of their predicament nowhere to go.

But down.....down..in one dreadful moment.
Then suddenly the cable car picks up pace,
Glides effortlessly through frozen space,
Sun is out banished their groundless fears
No need for expensive compensation,
As fearless travellers delivered...Safely...
To their destination.
