ENTITLED SIMPLY 'ME'

I sauntered through a gallery
Which contained unusual art
Immediately my attention was drawn
To the subliminal message part
For here the artist tries to show
In terms of multicolour
Interpetations of his sketchy thoughts
To transfer to another

At some I strained with twisted neck
Was this way up or down
With facial expressions weird I'm sure
Incorportated much with frowns
For to this most enlightened mind
I thought what this might be
But sure enough I missed the boat
When the title was plain to see

I couldn't seem to figure out
The artists point of view
Of course just being my first time
What was a man to do
Approaching now the final one
That hung upon the wall
That sturdy frame of elegance
Standing sure and tall

I became a real conniseur
At this particular art
But there was just a little twist
Its secret I'll impart
For lo and behold before my eyes
For all the world to see
A picture of a mirror was drawn
Entitled simply 'ME'
