Not everything in this life is easy
i try hard to stay alive
all the evil that happens
i be a man and take in stride

my emotions stay locked
as if they're doing time
and the sentence is my life
i'll breakout within these lines

I'll let it all hang out
and show you a side of me
ill show you an example
of what you should never be

in my living i've lost my hope
in life i've tried my hardest
and those who try to help me
just cant see me in the darkness

i have tried to find a chance
or a little ray of hope
im stuck in the deepest hole
without a light or rope

but when the dark night passes
everything becomes alright
a little ray shoots through the hole
and gives another day to fight

all my hope comes back
even though the load is heavy
the darkness comes with wrath
but this time i'll be ready
