Gangrape in Rajshthan

A girl has alleged that she was gangraped by four men in Jaipur on Thursday evening when she was on her way to Ajmer.

The victim, who is from Kolkata, told the police that she came to Japiur in search of a job. She took a taxi for Ajmer from the hotel where she was stayed on Thursday. She said that the taxi was stopped en route by three people, who alongwith the took her to a secluded place and allegedly took turns to rape her.

She said the taxi driver dumped her at 2:30 am on the road.

A senior police official told that a case of rape has been registered, adding, that two of the four accused have been arrested by the police. He said a manhunt has been launched to nab others accused in the case.
