I’m writing you this poem
For all the things you do,
The countless times you’re there for me,
You’re unselfish and you’re true.

When I am sad, you find a way
To cheer me with a smile,
You make me laugh with things you say
In your own expressive style.

The thoughtful way you call me up
Just to say hello;
It’s more than this because I miss
Your presence, this you know.

If I could tell you with a kiss
How much you mean to me,
You’d know the love I hold inside,
This I guarantee.
