Description
PLEASE NOTE: CONTAINS CONVERTED 4:3 MATERIAL
Syrian-based TV shows what appears to be Muammar Gaddafi's son Saif al-Islam.
The footage is dated September 20th.
The broadcaster says he's seen rallying his forces although the location is not identified.
It was not immediately possible to verify the footage.
The Libyan interim government's fighters are still battling to take control of Gaddafi's last remaining strongholds.
Here at Gaddafi's birthplace of Sirte, the lack of co-ordination was still evident.
Units to the east were fighting on, while their counterparts in the west ceased fire to await the outcome of truce talks.
Commanders leading the attack on Sirte said they were in talks with elders inside the city about the terms of surrender.
Anti-Gaddafi fighters manning checkpoints outside Sirte have been searching vehicles leaving the besieged city.
Their aim is to stop Gaddafi loyalists and their families smuggling weapons out.
Sirte is one of the last two bastions of support for Gaddafi, whose whereabouts are still unknown.
