Gaddafi son captured

Celebrations across Libya Wednesday upon news that one of Muamar Gaddafi's son's has been captured.
In Tripoli, where Gaddafi supporters once rallied, young people sing and praise Allah, that son Mo'tassim Gaddafi has been arrested.
(SOUNDBITE)(Arabic) UNIDENTIFIED MALE TRIPOLI RESIDENT DRIVING CAR, SAYING:
"We got the little one, now we want the big one. God is great!."
Similar sentiments in Misrata and in Benghazi where Mo'tassim was brought after being arrested trying leave Sirte in a car with a family.
Although three unnamed National Transitional Council officials told Reuters Mo'tassim was indeed captured, during the most recent news conference, NTC members said an official confirmation or denial of the news will be made later.
(SOUNDBITE)(Arabic) KHALED AL-SAYEH, NTC MEMBER, SAYING:
"God willing, in the early hours of this morning, there will be a confirmation on the arrest of Mo'tassim or a denial."
While celebrations in Benghazi continue, transitional forces continue their battle in Sirte, one of the few remaining bastions of pro-Gaddafi loyalists.
