G.Jones vs Funkstar DeLuxe - Pull Up

Funkstar De Luxe is the stage name of the Danish house music producer and remixer, Martin Otteson.

In 1999 and 2000 he had several hits that were reinterpretations of older, classic songs. Two remixes of his featured Bob Marley compositions: "Sun Is Shining" (which hit Number one on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart) and "Rainbow Country" (number seven). Otteson was the first producer to receive clearance from the Marley estate to release official remixes of the late singer's music (although bootleg mixes of Marley tunes have circulated in the club world for years). These songs were officially credited to Bob Marley vs. Funkstar de Luxe.

He also had a Top 5 dance hit with a remix of Grace Jones's 1981 song, "Pull Up To The Bumper". Funkstar then released his first album, Funkturistic, in 2002, from which the single "Blinded by the Light" was extracted.
