Further downgrade on the cards for SA

on Friday night, South Africa will find out whether it will be downgraded further into junk territory. Two ratings agencies – Moody’s and S&P Global are expected to release their latest assessments of the country. The PPE corruption scandal, revelations the state capture inquiry, another SAA bailout and other problems with SOEs, could make the agencies more critical.
