Funerals Held for Journalists Killed in Kabul Attack

TOLO News said on April 30 that the funeral had taken place of one of its cameramen who was killed in an explosion in Kabul, along with eight other journalists.
Pajhwok Afghan News reported</a> that 25 people were killed in two explosions in the city on Monday.
The first blast occurred when a suicide bomber on a motorcycle detonated explosives in the high-security Shashdarak neighborhood during rush hour. A second blast followed around 20 minutes later, after journalists and authorities had congregated at the area, the outlet reported. The second bomber was thought to have been posing as a journalist, TOLO News said.
Yar Mohammad Tokhi was among those killed in the explosion, along with eight other journalists. Tokhi, who was 54, had worked for TOLO TV and TOLO News for 12 years, and left behind a mother, sister and fiance, his employer said. This footage is described as showing his funeral on Monday.
