Frost Staff - Terraria Weapon

he Frost Staff is a rare drop from Icy Mermen, Ice Elementals and Ice Golem. It shoots an ice sphere which travels in a straight line, pierces a single enemy, and disappears after striking a second.

If you reforge a Frost Staff with good armor, it becomes one of the deadliest magic weapons in the game. With its fast speed, doubled damage for every projectile shot (see Anomaly no.3) and fair knockback, it can deal even with large crowds of Fighter AI enemies (though not that effective against other). The best Modifier is Mythical.

Notes
The frost staff projectiles are slowed down in water, making them harder to use.

The frost staff seems to be affected by the Fire Gauntlet, as well as other melee boosts, even though it is a magic weapon.

The projectile shot by the Frost Staff seems to be stacked; if an enemy has more health than a single projectile can hit, the other stacked projectile will also hit the enemy, meaning that piercing is only applied if the enemy can be killed with a single projectile.
