Frontmen Opeth and Porcupine Tree join forces

During their first meeting in 2000, Opeth frontman Mikael Åkerfeldt and Porcupine Tree frontman Steven Wilson talked about a musical collaboration. Twelve years later, in May 2012, the eponymous debut album of Storm Corrosion is released. "We didn't want it to sound like Porcupine Tree or Opeth or a mix of the two", says Åkerfeldt.
