In this video we compare the french beauty standards and french makeup trends to that of american makeup standards and youtube beauty trends. French makeup is all about having a very simple yet effective french skincare routine to have the best skin possible. Because of their beautiful skin, french women apply very minimal makeup. On a daily basis, lipstick and mascara is mostly it. For a night time look, I've explained further in the video.
American beauty standards are extremely glamorous and more after hollywood beauty trends like a heavy base, darker foundation to mimick tan, strong contour and ofcourse highlight on point. Strong contoured brows, nose to fake nose jobs and over lines lips or lip injections for fuller angelina jole / jennifer lawrence / scarlet johanson style plum lips. Kylie jenner is also a huge youth icon of this time! So a lot of makeup trends are set by the Kardashian - Jenner family, especially Kim Kardashian west (KKW Beauty & Kylie Cosmetics)
