6 Views • May 22, 2015
Description
It ruled that cabs which are not licensed have to return to their bases after dropping off a customer or await new fares from a parking area. The decision upholds a ban on cabs driving around looking for new fares.
A Paris appeals court had been waiting for the decision before ruling on whether to ban Uber’s unlicensed taxi service which is known as UberPOP.
The case before the appeals court was brought by three competing services.
