Freestyle skiing is a spectacular and relatively new discipline, formerly known as Acrobatic Skiing. Skiers perform tricks on the slopes and on snow or metal ramps. As this extreme sport has become highly popular the number of Olympic events has increased. Instead of three there are now five events at the Games: Moguls, aerials, ski-cross, Halfpipe and Slopestyle.VIDEOGRAPHIC
