freestyle.ch 2011: Crossover Session

It was a fiercely fought battle to win the favor of the crowd. Jossi Wells (NZL) tried to win the hearts of the female audience by performing with no shirt and flexing his muscles while local hero Elias Ambuehl (SUI) performed a double cork - in a bunny suit… The final round was - in true crossover tradition - up to four completely different branches and each athlete was determined to fly the flag for his colleagues: Sebastien Toutant (CAN) for the Snowboarders, the Swiss rising star Kai Mahler for the Freeskiers, Tom Pages (FRA) for FMX and Vince Bryon (AUS) for BMX. Only Vince Byron’s (AUS) mindblowing Triple Table Backflip & Flair on his BMX could top Tom Pages’ heartstopping Body Varial on his motocross bike. Vince Byron won over the 35’000 spectators who crowned him the well-deserved crossover.champ 2011!
