Gumdrops, falling, falling, falling…
Mouth wide open, hoping to catch a single,

stroke of goodness before…
The earth opens up.
(Spoken strongly)
Thunder and fire
Shooting up from the ground
Like lava out of a volcano,
Terribly, twisting, torturous terror
The earth opens up
Large as my fear, screams strangle out
Death life
Life death
Intermingling…

(Whisper) The world opens up.
