as daylight dawns I steal a kiss for my friends know
I must move on into the mist I go softly within a blink
of an eye it stops to make her think
into the dawn of day she knows her love will stay
as the sunshine turns to rain then
rain to fog
I hear a mourning dove searching for his mate
he thanks the heavens with his song
she answers in flight as they soar out of sight
good morning my love, my soul mate, my love
as it is carried by the doves song
they remind me that it won't be long
we must go on to break the spell
to this enchanted night so I can hold my lover ever so tight
