there will never come a time

when my heart stoops down low

allowing my words to be cheapened

by trite statements & lofty speaks

that remain hollow after being spoken



so this beating, pulsing being: inside;

shall remain nestled within its nest

awaiting the visitation of its Keeper

for only in those hands will there be

a time & space to be what it trully is




without having to lose its meaning

& bruise the bars & curves of its fonts

when the heart travels among these words

through oceans & timezones & destinies

to reach your heart pure, laden, filled with love
