Fred Chamberlain - When you put the walls up

When you keep the walls up
no one can see you
never be angry or hateful
because it leads to disaster
you can't run from pain
because it will come back and hit you

pain comes in different forms
yourself and others
yourself, such as self criticism, or cutting
other, such as hate, and fights
the pain always comes and smacks you
