Fratton Model Centre closing

Fratton Model Centre is closing after being open on the road since 1957. Mr Salt took over the business from his father in 1995, bought from his dad after it went bust. The business has been profitable over the past two years, but with the shop having to be open seven days a week, talks to find a buyer stalling due to Covid in 2020, and Mr Salt 'not getting any younger', he's decided to close the shop and focus more on trade shows instead.
