As hips are bent with backs so low
The world sees builders’ bums on show
There’s lots of them both large and small
Belonging to builders short and tall
Variety’s the spice of life
And builders’ bums are getting rife
‘Tis ‘cos their trousers ‘r cut too short
Around the waist there’s no support
Their tums they sag above the belt
But builders’ bums are never felt! !
Left cheek, right cheek, lumbar dip
Theres many grins and many quips
The poor old builder may get cold
If when he bends his bum gets bold
And if he’s large his cheeks will move
Around his trousers – very smooth!
Some viewers may enjoy the sight
But most onlookers get a fright
The wind it howls around about
Why do all builders have to tout
their bums in public when they bow?
I really, really don’t know how
And yet this curious sight we see
Is not restricted to you and me
It seen in Europe, America too
In Africa, India, and Timbuctoo
Builders’ bums may seem such fun
But think of it burnt by the sun! !
And of the pain poor chaps must feel
And then their bums of skin may peel!
But remember this ‘bout bums, now hark
They’re very good for bikes to park!
So next time builders bum you see
Keep hands to self – act modestly! !
