I failed to remember, my dear friend,
that I'd prepared 'two' servings
of creamed pork tongue
in the frying pan this morning-
so when I attempted
to pour the entire load onto your plate
it caused a runoff, upsetting you terribly.

Also, I lied when I told you I prepare
that very same breakfast weekly
for a woman of questionable breeding
who resides with me in a parallel universe.

Realizing I'd deceived you,
I went into my room,
and while pretending
to make my bed, fainted.
When I resumed consciousness
I started crying and wet my pants.
