There I was, the sun ready to shine.
I unlocked my door, a man came out
With a face like mine!
Cept, for the clean shave
and the scent of soap!


Couldn't look myself in the eye.
So I bowed my head and said, hi


As the coffee heated, I took off my shoes
Sat right down and enjoyed my 5 am blues
