Francis Duggan - By Saying The Wrong Thing
4 Views • Oct 29, 2014
Description
You tell her that she is lovely to behold
Though she may have her hair dyed for to cover her gray
Most women like to be noticed for that is their way
For your age one might have thought you'd have better sense
Than asking why does she hide her gray and cause her offence
'Tis true about ignorance that ignorance does show
Of the ways of women so little you know
That she wants to be noticed is human 'twould seem
And for a woman to be told she looks well is good for her self esteem
Disappointment to her day you have managed to bring
You have hurt her feelings by saying the wrong thing
Before you thought once you have spoken twice
Lets face it you have not been thoughtful or nice.
