Francine Brady - Blackbird

This is the first season I have heard
The blackbird CAW.
It is not a song, but more a
Harsh reminder.
I know now what Poe meant by
Nevermore.
There is one that goes to the highest limb
On the pine tree.
He does not sit but hangs on, as the wind
Moves him back and forth.
He is going for a ride, no doubt
And master of all.
I am jealous, earthbound in my chair.
What I wouldn't give for the view.
