Francesca Gnatkowski - Tears

As these tears roll down my face,
I wonder if this is my fate.
To be here waiting for you,
But wind up feeling glumy and blue.
Isn't it sad to see me cry?
Why do you act so surprised?
You act as if you've never seen,
These tears of saddness of you and me.
You act as if these tears mean nothing to you,
As you sail the ocean blue.
All I want is to be in your arms,
And for you to love and care for me.
I don't want to cry these tears,
That have made me sad all these years.
So all I ask of you, is to take me as I am,
And not as i look.
For then I will cry tears of happiness,
For you and I.
