Love is mighty
Sometimes flighty.
Because of its might,
we're havng day and night.
Be we black, brown or yellow or white,
everything manages to work out all right.
Love for a mate
is the most great.
A child's love is sweet and dear
and keeps us in good cheer.
Love for a kitten or a dog
may keep you in a fog.
With some, love is a game.
You may give it some other name.
It may be fascination or not.
And may even be bought,
although you really hadn'st ought.
Love 'tis of the greatest worth of anything on earth.
