Forest officials trap leopard after a one-week chase

A leopard was caught by forest department in Bageshwar's Dhangar village on Thursday. The officials had laid a trap to catch the leopard a week ago. A forest official said, "The trap was laid a week ago and was being monitored. The team had its eye on the leopard’s movement. Today at 5 am we caught the cat and brought it here." The leopard has killed four children till now. Locals are breathing easy after the beast was caught by officials.
