Foreign crewmen stranded in Sabah waters
Description
Ten crewmen of a cargo vessel are claiming that they have not been paid and stranded on a company boat for the past four months. Their representative, Khurshid Iqbal, on board the vessel, said they all arrived in Sabah waters on Aug 4 and upon arrival, had their passports and US$12,000 deposits “kept” by the owner.
