Ford Recall Pressure
Description
Ford is recalling nearly 1.4 million F-150 trucks from model years 2015–2017 due to a transmission fault causing unintended downshifts. Dealers will update software at no cost, with a full remedy expected in July. Trump administration officials held preliminary talks with Ford and other manufacturers about domestic weapons production. Ford is slowing near-term EV expansion and targeting a lower-cost 2027 platform push.
