Folklore Museum Xylagani

Since 2011 and after 25 years of work, started to work there in the Folklore Museum of the "Cultural Group Xylaganis".

The museum is housed in a restored mill consisting of five buildings constructed at different times, donation of Ouzounopoulou family and Atzemian.

In a total area of 700 square meters various exhibits related to the life of the people of the village is presented, separated into sections and placed in landscaped areas reminiscent of other seasons.

From a huge historical archive of photograph and documents from the life in the area, the visitor obtains a picture of everyday life, habits, work, residence life time gone and should not be forgotten.

The museum is open on days: • Tuesdays from 10:00 to 13:00 & 17:00 to 7:00 p.m.. • Friday from 10:00 to 13:00.
