I call this the FMK Lion Dance, because I don't see myself as just Chinese, I am a multitude of cultures combined and it is more precise to say that this is a Lion Dance that is expressed by my school. The Traditional Chinese Lion Dance is very beautiful but very difficult to replicate, it takes a lot of practice but you need a team of 5 people to do it right and everyone has to be motivated and driven to improve, you cannot have a great Lion Dance with just one person, it is a team performance, that is why it is so difficult to express this dance to a high level. For myself, I need a lot of work in getting better at the drumming and the dancing from the front and from the back.
