Floy Devlin - Words...

I want to tell you how I feel.
I truly do!
But this is hard.
Putting feels into words isn’t an easy thing.
At least not for me.

I know that this is real
That what I’m feeling is indeed true.
I wish that they made a card,
So that it could sing,
And I would be free.

Free the words in my head,
That won’t come out just right.
The thing is, I need you to know!
Everything’s all scrambled.
And I feel so mixed up

When I go to bed,
And it is but night,
I think of how I made a fool of myself. So,
Even though I rambled,
I really want you to know, that close-up…

I’m trying with all my might.
To find just the right words.
Like isn’t strong enough,
And love is too strong.
I need to find a word that fits!

When your in my sight,
I can’t hear anything but birds.
Everything I thought up goes Puff
It’s been really tough
And it hasn’t been long.
But it will come back. Bit by bits…
