The plot is basically: little black cat wakes up, the world gets swallowed by a massive flood, and she scrambles onto a sailboat. Simple. Except it’s not a private rescue raft. It’s a floating mix-up of problems.

On board she finds a thieving little monkey, a big-hearted Labrador, a sleepy capybara, and a proud secretary bird who acts like he’s in charge of the weather. They’re all from different corners of the animal kingdom, and naturally they don’t start out as best friends. But the boat keeps moving, the water keeps rising, and “together or die” turns into the only plan that works.

If you like your survival story with personality and zero patience for easy answers, Flow is an unexpected delight.

Eine Katze, eine Flut, und plötzlich ist „Überleben“ nicht mehr nur ein Wort. Kaum ist der erste Morgennebel weg, liegt die alte Welt schon unter Wasser. Die kleine schwarze Katze krallt sich in ein Segelboot, und dort wartet das nächste Problem. Erst ein diebisches Äffchen. Dann der gutmütige Labrador. Danach ein schläfriges Wasserschwein. Und schließlich ein stolzer Sekretärvogel, der so tut, als hätte er das Ganze persönlich geplant.

Klingt wie eine Kinderparade. Ist aber eher: ein Team-Deal, den niemand unterschrieben hat. Denn klar wird schnell: Die Unterschiede sind kein Feature, sondern der Motor. Gemeinsam müssen sie sich durch die neue Welt schlagen, während das Chaos von oben nach unten entscheidet.
