Macknade, a town between Cairns and Townsville in Far North Queensland, was flooded on March 29 following days of heavy rain. This video shows flooded front yards along Mill Road.
The Herbert River peaked at 11.9 metres, just below major flooding levels, according to the ABC</a>. Roads south of Ingham, which was flooded for the second time in three weeks, had reopened on March 29.
