Description

Heavy rains bring significant flooding to parts of the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.

The deluge has forced the evacuation of nearly 6,000 people and killed at least two.

The rainfall has been pounding Jakarta since last week and water levels began rising on Monday.

This woman says her family doesn't have any dry clothes left and they've run out of food.

More ran is forcast in the coming days.

Chronic flooding, mostly caused by clogged water ducts and poor drainage, hits Jakarta and other areas of the country every year during the wet season from October to April.

The capital is particularly vulnerable as several rivers meet in the low-lying port city.
