Fjer (Maja Barløse) is a girl of remarkable talents - a rare triple-threat singer/songwriter/producer, who at 21 years of age already wields a command of high-caliber electro-soul songwriting usually reserved for astronomic talents this side of James Blake & Imogen Heap.

Fjer (pronounced "Fee-YAIR") translates to "Feather(s)" in Danish - a peculiar choice given her naturally boisterous voice and powerful live performances. There is a unique quality in her timbre - equally warm as it is solidly textured - like maple syrup poured over black volcanic gravel. It's immediately distinguishable. Honing her vocal craft during her time at Denmark's highly prestigious Royal Academy of Music, she learned to utilize the laptop as a musical instrument along with piano and guitar - eclectically fusing her live acoustic performances with vocal looping and other electro-effects.
