Fizzy Soup son una banda independiente, desayunan café y cenan sopa.
Hacen sus discos a mano. Se acercan al indie folk con explosiones psicodélicas pero su música se desvía hacia un sonido diferente, ellos buscan ir más lejos.
Con casi un centenar de conciertos a sus espaldas, la filosofía DIY de Fizzy Soup les ha llevado durante los últimos tres años por salas como La Riviera o Apolo y festivales como DCODE Festival o Sonorama Ribera.
A principios de 2017 llega su nuevo LP ‘Not so far’, reseñado por El País, Radio 3,
Rockdelux y otros medios musicales. La banda ha comenzado el año con mucha fuerza, tras ser confirmados en festivales como el Mad Cool Festival y PortAmérica y con un disco recién publicado gracias a un ruidoso crowdfunding que dobló el objetivo inicial, la gira de presentación de 'Not so far' ya ha pasado por más de 20 ciudades. Fizzy Soup ha presentado un disco lleno de texturas y muy difícil de etiquetar, del que se ha dicho que “es la confirmación de por qué se les ha señalado como una de las mejores bandas emergentes del país” y lo han comparado con el característico y personal sonido de Cat Power, Alt -J, Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Arcade Fire o Alabama Shakes.

Fizzy Soup is an indid band, they have coffee for breakfast and soup for dinner. Edited one by one, they do homemade albums. They approach the Indie-Folk music with psychedelic explosions but its music turns aside towards a different sound, they look for how to go further.
With almost a hundred concerts behind them, the DIY philosophy of Fizzy Soup has taken them during the last three years performing at important venues like The Riviera or Apolo and festivals like DCODE Festival or Sonorama Ribera.
Their new LP ‘Not so far’ releases in early 2017, reviewed by remarkable music journalists from El País, Radio 3 or Rockdelux. The band began the year strongly, after being confirmed in festivals such as Mad Cool Festival and PortAmérica and with an album newly published thanks to a noisy crowdfunding that doubled the initial goal, the 'Not so far' tour has already passed by more than 20 cities.
Coproduced with Iñaki Martínez (Organic Audio Estudio), Fizzy Soup has presented an album full of textures and very difficult to label, about which it has been said that “it is the confirmation of why it has been indicated as one of the best emergent bands of the country” and has been compared with Cat Power, Alt-J, Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Arcade Fire or Alabama Shakes' distinctive and personal sounds.
The trip of sensations and the epic sceneries of 'Not so far' comes alive in a show that the chronicles warn “it's forceful and loaded with energy”.
