First satellite made by IITians
Description
Students at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur are very excited, as a small satellite called Jugnu or glow worm designed has been placed in orbit. Apart from Jugnu, the rocket is also carrying the Meghna-Tropiques satellite. Launched by ISRO, this satellite is the first satellite in India to study the weather.
