Fire razes Bulacan plastics factory

MANILA, Philippines - A fire hit a plastics factory in Marilao, Bulacan around midnight Monday. The fire started at a portion of the factory in Barangay Santa Rosa Uno, according to one of the factory workers. It reached the fifth alarm and was declared out five hours after. No one was reported injured among the factory's 50 workers. Fire officials estimate the cost of damage from the fire at P500,000. - Umagang Kay Ganda, 27 May 2013
