Fire hits Manila school, polls continue

MANILA - Fire razed four classrooms in Padre Burgos Elementary School in Santa Mesa, Manila but did not cause the cancellation of the barangay polls there. Fire erupted at the at the second floor of Padre Burgos Elementary School along Maceda Street at around 10 p.m. Four classrooms were razed by the fire. Initial investigation showed the fire started at the ceiling of one of the rooms. Because of the incident, five clustered precincts representing two barangays had to be transferred to other classrooms. ANC HEADSTART, October 28, 2013
