Description

From tails of blotted feathers I come
And embellish a ripped up papyrus sheet
The hand that strings the words on me
Wishes to tell me its intentions
I may reflect a forlorn gaze
Or from another show up a blissful face
Clothe d in valor and pride I fly
To an air so disturbed and desperate
Or I may glide the other way round –
Packed with emotions far from moderate

Of ardor or distress, in smiles or tears
From a healthy hand to an unhealthy
Or with the tail at the head
I’ve been visiting over a million doors
I may set out on a journey so adventurous
Or may sail on a tour so dangerous
With emotions as fickle as the varying air
Engraved with pretty or awkward patterns bound
Embossed with scenes of rainbow minds in missives
I’m bartered like a football in the playground.
