He stands in the corner
A presence always felt
Features gentled by shadow
Softened by candles flickering
His waiting has just begun
For the spirit remaining still
Emotion permeates the air
Surrounding him in this room
Silence drenched with his pain
Some-one must guide them home
When their souls leave the ground
He doesn't want this mission
He doesn't want their pain
Yet somehow he will carry
This weight on wings that will enfold
And comfort spirits with the light
That shines from his tenderness
Sleep well within his embrace
For he only seeks to ease
Not grim at all his, visage
Just the reaper of all souls
