FINANCE MINISTER WON'T AMEND REGULATIONS ALONE

An amendment to the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property Amendment and Validation Bill was made during the committee stage of the House of Representatives sitting on Wednesday night.


The mover of the bill says the amendment would ensure the Finance Minister would not have absolute discretion to amend the regulations.

But the Opposition is questioning the validation of two legal notices contained in the bill.
